Hie Anita,
I think that it is not possible to generalise how multi-threading is achieved in EJB.As you are aware, the EJB specifications takes off such concerns from the bean-developer and leaves the burden on the container/server provider. So different such providers will implement multi-threading differently, all we do as bean-developers is NOT to provide any multi-threading functionality and trust that our container/server provider will serve as well.I guess all we do is to specify in the deployment descriptor whether the bean is re-entrant or not, and the server/container will take necessary action based on this.
Regards,
Herbert.

hi
its regarding your second question - clutering.

Clustreing is done to share the request over multiple servers to have scalability and Auto Fail Over - AFO.
all the application must be runnning on same port and all must be having similar property files (weblogic 5.1).
you make the changes in the properties file to make clustering enable
