Oh yes they will. So your certification will be of great help, you'll see.
Noone would expect you to know much for junior positions, so
Learn some database connectivity, some SQL and basic database design, HTML,
Servlets and
JSP.
Install
tomcat and some database at home and build little web app with database connectivity, beans, session, javaScript, jsp and Servlets. Try to play with XML+XSL and that would be just enough to get started. The rest you can learn while working during work hours and studying in evenings.
There are also some jobs for swing developers, if you know some of that, you can look more into it, but swing is not very popular.
