why not portals forum

there are so many issues related to the portals.. and then there is no other site, where yuo really get lotsa help.
Although, w have a forum for ths.. we dont use it extensively... i remember a friend posting a question.. in that forum.. n getting no reply..
is it tht people are not aware of this forum.. can we do something to promote the forum??
because take jsp/servlet/java forum.. you get answers in minutes.. why can it not be the same for portals

Well, like any place, it depends on the number of people poking their heads in there. It's like the SCMAD forum - it's usually quiet, but it picks up after a while.

Portals/portlets are a relatively newer technology, so it's going to be a while before it has the activity of the JSP forum or the like. Give it time.

If ever. It's a relatively small niche.
