Client A's state is passivated. Later when client A comes, its
state has to be activated. We have to activate the correspond'g state(which has been stored in secondary device using activation) for the client A. How do identify the client A?
How session tracking is done here? Please explain.

Hi,
I dont know if i correclty understand ur doubt but if you wanna know how the server does know how some passivated state belongs to this or that user the answer is:
The specifications dont tell how u should implement features, it does describe the services and how they must behave under diferent conditions, the way that this services are implemented can and usually are different from vendor to vendor, so u can have the same set of services implemented usind different aproaches from each vendor.
Marcos Maia.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
