problem with 2 tables in jdbc

Hi,
I try to execute the following select and it doesn't work. The problem is that I have to make a select using 2 tables from 2 different databases. Could anyone tell me how to do that with jdbc ?
the select:

SELECT preutl,nomutl
FROM participation, huissier..vue_utilisateur
WHERE codpro='a'
AND codpha='--'
AND codtac='--'
AND participation.codutl = huissier..vue_utilisateur.codutl

the JDBC instruction:

query = "SELECT preutl,nomutl" +
" FROM participation, huissier..vue_utilisateur" +
" WHERE codpro='a'" +
" AND codpha='--'" +
" AND codtac='--'" +
" AND participation.codutl = huissier..vue_utilisateur.codutl";
resultSet = statement.executeQuery(query);

the error message

Internal Servlet Error:
javax.servlet.ServletException: S0022: 'codutl' is an incorrect colum name.

So far as I know, you must work with the tables over separate JDBC connections, one for each database, and concatenate the results. Also, this question has been asked before; try searching the forum for "two tables" to see some relevant results.
