Well the url which we give to make the connection with oracle database using type four driver is :
url = jdbc racle:thin:@IP_ADDRESS ORT:SID

Now what is the significance of "jdbc racle" part of the url .As i have changed its string to "jd r" in my weblogic server's properties still its making the conection pool and i can do the database operations. does it really got any significance or is it just a name.
Thanks in advance
