Up to this point, when I need to write data to my database, I use the getText() method of my TextFields, store that information in variables, and then send that information to a method that write the information to the Database using JDBC. Simply by plugging the variables into my SQL Statement.
Well, now I am looking for different methods of doing this. Possibly something a little more dynamic so that if I change, remove, or add a TextField, I don't have to dig through 3 different methods and change everything.
I would really like to hear some ideas on design and some methods that anyone else has used to do this very thing.
I realize this could also possibly be more of a SWING or even possibly just a general java question, so if any moderators feel the need to move this elsewhere, please do so.
