How to read BLOB form DB2 UDB DB using Java

Hello,
Versioned Java objects are stored as BLOB in DB2UDB table I need to pull the correct version based on the user's parameters from the UDB DB and using that java object I need to create a report... anyone knows how to read a BLOB from a UDB and how to make use of the retrieved object ... your help is highly appreciate!

I also came to know that there is way we can store java classes also in UDB tables..
If anyone can shed light on these topics, it will be of great help to me!
