I have been using MySQL for quite awhile. Was wondering if PostgreSQL was any better or worse? Or is it just a "feature" issue where they both have features the other one doesn't so it becomes a trade off? Thanks.
One thing I definitely don't like about MySQL is that the current version does not support subqueries. If all you ever do is "select * from table" then it's not an issue. But for more more sophisticated querying MySQL in its present form just doesn't cut it.
That's good to know. What about Stored Procedures. I heard that MySQL does not support them but PostgreSQL does. However, when browsing through the documentation I can find nothing to confirm this one way or another.
