Hi all,
I have a a GUI,which will be used by ppl in diff time-zones.
But the user actions will coz a central db to be updated.
Now I have to implement a Query Log feature in this GUI.So all the queries fired due to the user
actions in the GUI,will be stored in a particular table in the central db.
This table needs to store the date-time at which the query was fired.More precisly,I need to DB Server date-time to be stored in the table.
Does JDBC,have any generic feature/API call which will give me the date-time of the DB Server?
I know I can do this by firing a Query, but again that will be DB specific query?
Plzz gimmie some ideas,
Thanks,
Chinmay....
