I was thinking both the terms represent the same thing. Today I found out that, they mean different things. Could anybody tell the basic differences or give me some links where I can find it.
Thanks.

Hi,
The only sinilarity between JavaBeans and EJB is both are components.
But EJB is deployable component and Java bean is development component it can\t be deployed on a server
EJB is meant for inter process and Java beans are ment for intra process. For example a Button is one java bean ie development componet that can be included in any of your GUI
Consider a Customer bean which is deployed in a server. It can be accessed from anywhere.
This is the major differrence as for as I know

Java Beans are visually manipulated, reusable client side
components.
Enterprise JavaBeans is an architecture. It is used for development and deployment of component-based distributed business applications.

Minor nitpick. While that was Sun's original definition, this is no longer always true... think of the use JSPs make of JavaBeans (<jsp:useBean> ). Server-side, and not visually manipulated.

Hey Thanks Peter !!
You are right about that...in way. But those beans even in JSPs
are / can be changed for better front ends.....
