Hi
I have a database in Mysql where I have a column of datatype char.
In jbuilder I am using queryDataSet to manupulate the records. Now whatever the length I give in mysql database for the char type colume I can only insert to the length of a record which is already inserted i.e.
if in the name field I have a name "David Lance" then I can only insert a name record of that length from the java application. so plz can any one help me
