Last week, we had the author of TDD for a Shopping Website LiveProject. Friday at 11am Ranch time, Steven Solomon will be hosting a live TDD session just for us. See for the agenda and registration link
Hola, everyone. I used Java with MySQL4.0.4 and every thing is OK. now I want to move to the real world (Server and Client not localhost as I have). MySQL will be installed in the server, and my application on the client and my questions are: 1. Should the server have a JRE? 2. Where to put JDBC driver? on the server or on the client?
Unless you are running distributed processing on the server, no, the server does not need a JRE. Thus, the client should have the JRE and teh JDBC drivers available to it; MySQL runs fine without those.

Oh sure, it's a tiny ad, but under the right circumstances, it gets bigger.
