Hello All

Does anyone have any information about CITOS ( Citigroup Information
Technology Operations and Solutions ) in Mumbai ??

One of my friends has offers from CITOS, Mumbai and HSBC, Pune.

He is really confused which one to take ........ most things like pay package, position, technology are the same ...........

Any +ve / -ve inputs for the 2 companies would be really helpful ........

Any help would be really appreciated .......... he needs to take a quick decision on this ............

Thanks,

Hiten

I suggest HSBC. They are growing in India.

I didnt hear about CITOS ( Citigroup Information
Technology Operations and Solutions ) but normally the work with Citigroup is very hectic and they are very agressive.

I mean they are agressive in deadlines. They do expect you to work for 12 hours per day etc.,

But sometimes you should be aggressive in meeting deadlines.

I think, it depends on the project, which you are working on.. some prjects demand more than 8 hrs in any compnay..

which company doesnot expect you to work more than 8 hrs, even when it is really required?

If you are agressive always or sometimes to meet deadlines thats fine and good also. But if your manager or client always expects you to be agressive than thats not healthy situation.

If you are expected to work for more than 12 hours for some projects and for some days thats not a problem. But if every project and every day is expected to work more than 8 hours thats a problem rite?

I agree with Mr. Reddy,I have worked on citibank/citigroup projects and have found them very aggressive it was 10-12 hours
daily and a lot of hype was there even for small defects .
Your manager would keep you in constant pressure and your life would be difficult I suppose it is for any project either in dev/support.
So would not suggest ,don't know much about HSBC.
