This is in the documentation of a interface I am trying to set up:
Static table alias: If you have static data that should be linked to all records in your database, like metadata about a collection or the administrator of the database, you can specify a table-alias here which will be included in all results.
I am unfamiliar with the concept of static data in a database. What is the difference between static data and plain old data?
