I am facing a problem in inserting the words with accentuation(Spanish language). For example column width is 9 and I am putting value Rodrguez in thic column.
Though this value is of length 9, still I get "inserted too large value" exception for this.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

what is type of your column? If not nvarchar then
set it!! varchar stores each character as one byte
and nvarchar as two bytes (and I guess that is what
you need to store spanish letters).

I need a new interior decorator. This tiny ad just painted every room in my house purple.
