I'm just preparing to teach a beginners Java course and love your ideas for explaining topics. I noticed on the Cups Story page a small mistake, which may confuse a beginner. The cups order is short, single grande, tall and the equivalent data types are byte, short, int, long. In the next paragraph you write:

So instead of saying, "I'd like a tall French Roast", you say to the compiler, "I'd like an int with the number 90 please." And that's what you get. (you also have to give your cup a name, but we'll get to that later.)

"I'd like an int with the number 90 please" should be "I'd like an long with the number 90 please"

I hope this is the right place to post this and that someone will be able to make the correction.

Thanks again for creating such a great resource!

I think you're right. (Note: This refers to the Cup Size Campfire Story.)

Moving to the JavaRanch forum.
