In my company, all employees have to go through a mandatory 1 month training program. Its actually a certification exam of their Business Intelligence tool. The scary part is: continued employment is subject to the candidates clearing the exam ! So if you're recently hired, and you fail the exam, you're out of the company !!

Our product consultants get training more often on various aspects of the tool from time to time. They need to go through the certification process every year.

Lastly, the education services dept publishes a list of the courses that are going to be held all around the year. These are actually meant for consultants from other companies like Deloitte, Accenture etc (its a source of revenue actually) but any employee can attend these classes. Most of the classes focus around various modules of the tool. Some of them focus on product customizations. And some others on entry level Java/JSP/ASP etc.
