connection on exit

steps:
1. make a connection to sybase
2. Executing some sps
3. closing the connection.

i want to know that when my JVM is shutdown after i executed some sps, is the connection still be alive or dangling

No. You have closed the connection. And if you aren't doing that even then after shutting down your JVM, the connection would be closed.

By the way. What 'sps' stands for . Pardon really never heard before.

Stored procedures(sp)

after executing my sp the jvm is shutdown. so closing the connection doesnt happen at all.

so i want to know that whether the connection is still there or not

O, Ok. I should have understood this 'sp'.
Anyways, if exit(0) then would be closed, else not sure.
