Hello,

Can anyone shed some light on this?

What do I need (files/setup) locally to be able to create a datasource to a remote DB2 instance database (SAMPLE database) and how do I achieve that (creating datasource and connecting to database using that datasource)?
I am using WSAD for my web app which will be using JDBC to fetch data from DB2 database

Thanks,
P.Ingle

In your db2 control center setup a database that references the remote one. It is good to do a query from the control or command center to verify connectivity.

From WSAD, you just create a regular datasource and refer to it using the local alias you provided in db2.
