I spend nearly 10 minutes of my very precious time typing up an nice, diplomatic reply to the thread about languages and etc, posted it, re-read it, turned around and looked it again and it was gone!

Now, its thick of me to reply to that silly thread, but my 10 minutes just wasted like that! And now another two minutes winging about it! Aarh!!

Why wouldn't the lovely mods just lock the darn thread and leave it there with a warning or something � it will also serve as an example of what�s allowed and what�s not, I think!

Heh? No? I know my dad can beat up your dad any day!!

It's good to see that after long time that thread finally gone for GC.

Now you know it is difficult to know when gc happens.

Sometimes we close threads, but more often we remove them completely. In the past we've found that often people will read the closed thread, get upset about something, and then start a new thread to continue the argument. Which just makes more work for us.
