Porting application from jdbc 2.0 to jdbc 3.0

What all changes wll I have to make if I have to port a java application from jdbc 2.0 to jdbc 3.0

One thing i can think of is changing jdbc driver

You should not have to change anything, since it's upward compatible.

There's no problem with using a JDBC 2.0 driver in an environment that has the JDBC 3.0 API, so you also don't have to change the driver.

The only thing is that if you change the program to use JDBC 3.0 features, it ofcourse won't work with the old driver.

I was actually asked this question in an interview. i.e if we have to port an application from jdbc 2.0 to jdbc 3.0 what configration settings will have to be changed.
