I think you should check with new driver (latest is 3.1.11 )and then if you get the exception again , post your code + exception .
the error i think come from version uncompatibility between Mysql and driver you used.

Hi Masoud Kalali,The application was working fine for a few days and the exception was discovered only today.Could there be any other issue that could create such a problem.My driver version is 3.1.7

Is this a recurring exception or a one-off? If it only happened once and (for example) you only found out about it by looking at the logs I'd forget about it. If it is happeneing all the time, well that's different.

I still think it looks like a driver version problem. Is there the possibility someone placed a driver somewhere else that is getting pick up in preference (eg the jre/lib/ext directory)

This error didnot occur only once.It happens frequently and the server goes down and it restarts automatically.

I am also facing same problem as Nila dhan,I mean to same scenario of Mr.Nila Dhan....So there no problem verion

Any type of help is kindly appriciated
