Hi All, I have some problem with jconnect6.0 JDBC drivers, I am unable to store some turkish special characters into sybase 12.5. After storing it to DB display become ?, when ever a read it back to the display become ?
Examples ş and ğ, so when ever a store these two characters it goes into db, but when I read back I get it as '?'.
please someone help me to resolve this.
I use statement.setString(). I will not be able encode it and store since few other applications too accessing the same table.

Hi All, I fixed the problem through opening the connection in utf8 format.
I added one more entry to open the connection along with username and password, now its working (prop_.put("CHARSET","utf8")).
