30 years ago Microsoft barely existed. Certainly way too few people knew about it to have an opinion one way or the other. Whether it is popular today is very much up for debate, I think

I am a Sr. Developer with Bally Gaming in Egg Harbor Township NJ (usa). Bally's is one of the largest if not the largest Manufacturer of Gaming Systems in the world. We manufacture slot machines, intelligent gaming tables and write various versions of Casino, Slot and Table management software. Our slot machines, tables and software run in just about every casino in the USA and many around the world.

Bally has major offices located in Reno and Las Vegas NV, New Jersey, Washington State and California with smaller offices in other states and contries. The India office is a new office that was started in the Summer of 2005. Bally may be new to India, but has a history that goes back to the early 1900's in gaming devices and 30+ years in software.

You can check out the website at BallyGaming.com and BallySystems.com.

Good Luck

Sorry for the delay I was at a client site for a few weeks.

Anyway, first things first, Bally Gaming and it's parent company Alliance Gaming have unified under the Ballt Technologies, Inc. name.

Secondly to answer your question, the iSeries (as/400) is used for the casino management, both versions (this is the software that actually runs the casino, ie financials, reporting etc0 and acsc sms (slot management) systems.

this is supposed to be a surprise, but it smells like a tiny ad:
