hi all,

i am using weblogic 6. i know a bit abt connection pooling. according to my knowlege the server container keep a pool of connection and give them access to resources on the basis of aome algo.(like round-robin in OS).

now let's say if our pooling mechanisum can hold 10 connection maximum, what will happen when 11th request comes???

hope i make it preety clear,

looking for some response,

sachin.

Several things could happen, depending on the way the connection pool works or is configured.

It could be that the 11th client is put to sleep until one of the other 10 clients releases a connection. It could also be that the 11th client gets an exception that indicates that there are no connections available.
