recently i've downloaded weblogic 6.0 from the net.
when iam trying to compile the ejb interfaces and classes
it is giving an error saying that none of the jndi naming
packages are found. do i need to download ejb & jndi packages separately.
and also i did'nt understand the statement "compiling of
the jar file using ejbc.. in the build.cmd file.. what does it mean.
and also it is saying three categories of files to store,
namely applications,web applications, ejb applications.
here what is the meaning of applications. i mean other than
servlets, jsp, html & ejb what else it could be.
and also is it compulsory to place ejb in a particular folder
and web classes in a particular folder . i mean is it ok if we
place them in another folder and specify that as the target location with environment variables 'client_classes' and 'server_classes'.
please somebody help me in this regard, as iam very much excited
to know this concept. even though theoritically iam sound at ejb
iam getting these kind of doubts while working on it.
