problem in opening mysqlcc

i downloaded the mysqlcontrol center from net along with the latest version of MYsql5.016. I installed it in my system.but the problem is that when i m opening the mysqlcc and clicking on the creating database it is not done.It is showing error like.
[root@localhost:3306] ERROR 1045: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
please help me in this regard. it is required urgently

This has nothing to do with Java or JDBC.

The mysql forums hosted by mysql would be much more appropriate.

Also, the mysql folk provide consulting services (for $$$, I think).
