Kanbay or Polaris ?

Hi all,
I got an offer from both Kanbay as well as from Polaris. i am really confused regarding which one shud i join. i live in mumbai and Polaris' placement is in mumbai whereas Kanbay is in Pune. package wise there is no much difference. Polaris - Rs. 3.6 lacs and Kanbay - Rs. 3.98 lacs.

pls suggests which one wud be better if i planned for atleast 2-3 years in the company?

pls do reply.. i am waiting for ur reply... i need to decides within few days..

I dont know much about the difference between the companies, but if your from mumbai ,better be in mumbai(food expense, travelling ,accomadation, social life).

As far as polaris is concerned working environment is not so good, be prepared for working about 12 hrs a day. I dont have any idea baout Kanbay.

Kanbay mostly deals in the finanical domian projects. There also you have to work 13 to 14 hours a day.

Kanbay is better in what terms and how much as compare to Polaris?
e.g. Good Projecs? , good Package? onsite opp?

yes, relocation is a bit issue... but I am not looking as decision factor as long as better career is concerned..

pls help and also how good it wud be the Accenture (Mumbai)?

Kanbay is better interms of work environment. Both Polaris and Kanbay works in finance domain. Polaris major client is citi bank. Citi bank projects are very agressive and you will have lot of work pressure. Kanbay is more employee friendly.

In your case your packages does not have much difference. So you can ignore package.

I am not looking for current package.. in Polaris they had offered me 3.2 but on my refusal they incresed it to 3.6..
of course, Package is a an important factor.. but i am looking for career growth..which one wud give me better career growth in terms of technologies, process, projects and of course package at the end of 2 years.

and also which one wud sound more in Resume?
