Hi

Is it possible to connect to a Oracle database from my Java program without creating the DSN in the machine from where i am running the java program.(In mine case it is Windows XP SP2 and the Database is Oracle9i).
Also how to set the DSN from a HP Unix box if it is necessary to set the DSN to connect to the database.

Thanks in advance

Rajarsi

Yes. Just use the thin driver.

Well I could, but I'm not as likely to do it as well as the Oracle documentation does. Read through that and things should become a bit clearer.
