Hi All,

Does anyone have any idea on the Macromedia Flex market currently? After its merger with ADOBE they are actively promoting the FLEX. Recently they have announced the beta version of FLEX 2.0. You can find more information at the below address:
http://labs.macromedia.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

Give me your views on the how market (across US and ASIA) will be ready to adopt this techonogy in future? Is it a good decision to make a career in Macromedia Flex?

Thanks,
Nirvana

Hi Nirvana

on 19 of this month , We have started working on flex. We have to give a three days flex project to macromedia team , just to show how powerful and easily adoptable technology flex is.

Today is the final day of our small flex project. We have found flex and the IDE flex builder really cool .

everyone who want to develop RIA, should work with flex. It will soon catch the market.

Sunil,
The work looks awesome however the flex has much more capability in it.

So what is your opinion about flex? are you J2EE developer or designer?

Thanks, Well i know that flex is much more powerful. We have just explored it in a short period of time. Where we have to demonstrate the charting components in flex and the powerful datagrid.

I am not a J2EE developer or designer. I used to work with desktop applications(Swing) , But now i am working on flash action-script 2.0. And flex is the next generation.

My opinion about flex:

Its really cool and the best thing about flex is that you dont need to code much as compare to other language for UI design. And there are numbers of dataprovider for grids and charts.Cool css supports for components and so many other great features i can not write here all of them

It's more powerful than what i was expecting. Well i enjoyed working with flex , as i was aware of AS-2.0, so it was not very tough for me to work on this technology. But any one can learn it very fast.

their flex builder IDE built on eclipse is really very very cool. Thats save your implementation time.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
