How do WE know this? Whether you are going for heart transplant surgery or executing SQL statements or designing quantum chip?

I guess you should always say whatever is the actual purpose and as written in the invitation letter. No imaginary reasons.

Maybe others can give further inputs.

Pramila,

If you don't have a decent answer to the most logical question by a visa oficer "Why do you need this visa?", you are asking for trouble. If I am the visa officer and you come to me stating that you have this client invitation and an emergency business need, and I take a look at your background and resume and note that you have skillsets similar to the multitudes and that the work to be performed could be performed by multitudes in US, you would need to convinve me to grant you the visa. Remember, a visa is a "privilege", not a "right". So be mentally prepared to be declined the visa too. All the best!

If you have your client's invitation letter you dont have to worry about anything. Hope your client is not in black list

Thanks,
Rajeev
