How is NVIDIA, Pune

Hi Friends,

Can anyone tell me how is NVIDIA, Pune? It is new company in Pune, setup here 6 months back (mainly in graphics). Pls tell me abt work culture, salary they offer for 2+ yr exp, onsite opportunities, good and bad things abt the company.

I'm mainly looking at the work they do and the experience that I'll get there in C, C++

As far as I know they work on video codecs MPEG-4, H.264 etc. Nvidia is a really good place to work if you are going to work on the video domain. Which domain are you selected for?

Hi Anu,

I'm yet not selected there. I heard they also do some system programming stuff like s/w for compilers, device drier etc. Can u pls tell how good is work there in this area. Also how good is work thr in C, C++ for application development. If someone does not have any knowledge abt graphics (but have interest) , whether this company is advisable?

Also if u have any idea , pls tell me how much max they can offer for 2+ yr exp. people

NVidia is a good company to go for if one is interested in video streaming and video codecs, as rightly said by Anu, I dont know what you exactly meant by Graphics. Nvidia mainly works on developing device drivers, embedded software and video compression codecs if this is what you are lokking for then Nvidia is a good choice.
