Honeywell Technologies Madurai..anyone has an idea about this firm vis a vis the kind of work and the work culture out there,the pay etc??

One of my friend is working there. It is a decent payer, it seems. People are trained in madurai or given small assignments. Then, transferred to other locations of the office.

Honeywell is a good company to work. They are into different domains like aviation, automation etc., They have very big offices in Bangalore and I guess Madurai center is newly started.

Hi,
Honeywell is very good cpmpany for work.They work in Security,Transportation and Automation Domain Using (LPR , DVR, RFID). If u want to work different then other and want to play with Hardware product then Think about it......U will injoy ..........

Thanks for the replies.I too have heard that Honeywell pays well.I would like to know the approx salary it offers for 2 years experienced Java professionals.Also are there onsite opportunities here?

You will be able to save a lot in Madurai..The cost of living is very very cheap compared to Bangalore..You can get a good house for Rs 500-750..Food is also good and cheap..

House for 500-750??? That's incredible!!!
Even monthly house maintenance for own house is going upto 1500 these days in my city!

Well I was born in Madurai and stayed there just 8 years before coming to Mumbai..but definitely it is cheap economy wise and one can find peace there!!!Pity Honeywell is the only major IT company there..
Anyways My current salary is 3.2LPA.So what can I expect for my 2 years experience?
