What is your current salary? Rs 65000 may not be great salary in Dubai as the cost of living Dubai will be very high compare to India. Do they pay you salary in India also?

If you get Indian salary also then it should be good considering your current salary.

The sal is very good, and more so because they are paying your Indian salary as well. Moreover, AFAIK there are no taxes in Dubai, so your gross is your take home salary. Sounds good to me.

If you can acquire new and popular skills, it will be worth it . In IT you need to keep your skills current.

I dont think 65K is a good salary for Dubai. I have heard that the rent is like 20K+ for a single room there and for others things too its awfully expensive. I wonder how much you will be able to save (I guess that's the motivation behind going to Dubai!!) after paying for your living there. IHMO its not a great offer and India is the place to be in right now!!!

I second that, beside rent food, conveyance and other things are also very expensive in Dubai. One of my relative is working in Dubai he is paying about 15K (INR) for a single room and spend about 20k in food and conveyance. One more thing, now a days they have policies that prevent you to bring money from their country.

But why would you want to leave Dubai? It is one of the strongest growing cities in the world it actually is a good idea to stay!

Maybe I have dated information!

A friend of mine stayed there a couple of years ago and was paying around 8-10 K for accomodation! So I thought 65K take home is good without having to pay any tax (30% here sounds too much).
