Hi
We are using JDBC in our application and i was browsing to see if there were any utility packages available that could make working with JDBC lot simpler. I found that DBUtils was pretty easy to use and i was wondering if any of you have tried DBUtils before.

I tried to write some code with DBUtils and it worked very fine for me.
I just browsed thru DBUtils jira and looks like most of the bugs were fixed.
I would be interested to know if there any performance issues with DBUtils.

Would be great to have your suggestions.

Thanks
Karthik

Karthik,
Most database performance issues lie in the SQL layer. The only one I can think of that is caused by a library is a connection leak. I'm sure the library does close resources properly though.

The Spring framework has a nice JDBC section, too.
