I checked out the TOC in O'reilly site for this new book in Head First series and it really looks good.

My questions are:
1. Why aren't PL/SQL Procedures covered in the book? I mean it sure would have helped a little bit of programming, IMHO.

2. Is there no support materials for download? Like code downloads or additional utilities to help learn SQL better & faster?

We're in the process of creating an online app that will let you try out your own queries on the tables in the book. That should be online late today over at http://headfirstlabs.com.

There were many things we couldn't cover to allow us to go into great depth in SQL. The book is already 600 pages.

Maybe a future HF book...
