Hi Lynn Beighley,
The first thing which came to my mind when i saw the book promotions mail and saw "Head First" in the title, was the urge to go and buy the book. I am a great fan of the Head First series and i have all the books published until now in my proud collection

I went through the TOC and other postings regarding the content of the book and you say that it might not be useful for a person who is familiar with SQL and already used SQL say through JDBC.

But its been quite sometime and i think my SQL skills have started to rust already Do you think this book will provide a kind of refresher to basic SQL and advanced topics like normalization etc.

Regards,
Reghu.

I would say if you're shaky about joins and about normalization, this book may be for you. Of course after you are through with it, you can always give it to a friend. ;)
