we get the persistance operation
which one is best to use for the persistance operation in a scalable application?
also describe pls?

Ajay,
One technology is almost never universally better than another. It usually depends on what kind of updates you are doing. Are they mostly simple queries, complex queries, updates, bulk updates, etc.

Note that EJB 3.0's persistence is part of JPA. Hibernate is also an implementation of JPA. (I'm not sure if Spring and JDO are offhand.)
