I've got a simple relation database set up in mySQL and I'm using the following two classes to implement a simple update query. The SQL query itself has been tested, and this method DID work...but now it doesn't.

The problem is, I didn't alter any of the code in the method (or in the test) after my initial test of the code (when it worked), and my more recent test gave my a NullPointerException (due to a "Unhandled event loop exception", whatever that is, according to my .log file). The stacktrace in the eclipse console is only a few lines, with just that one exception - but the longer trace in the .log file is over 100 lines, and is, to me, completely unreadable and not useful.

If changing my code isn't the cause of my code breaking (which I know its not), than what could be causing this? I've had jdbc communications issues in the past, and since this error looks nothing like that ones I had before I think I can safely rule out db connecitivy problems as the culprit.

You need to post the stacktrace.
