Hi,

Need help in creating a small java user interface through which we can make a connection to MS Access database with (username and password) , the user interface should ask for a username and password to connect to that specified database, once verified username, should get connected to the database.

hope i will get some help in this regard, links to tutorials or some code written by members will be greatly appreciated, i am new to java and learning things on java and database concepts.

In order to point you in the right direction, you'd need to tell us the specifics of this application. Is it a web app or a desktop app? Where is the .mdb file located - on your local machine or on a server somewhere?

Note that any number of very capable desktop SQL clients already exist, e.g. Squirrel and DataBrowser.

right now i want this to be as a desktop application and want this application to run on host machine only.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
