Everestconsulting(chennai) VS Prithvi Information Solutions Hydrebad

I got two onsite offer(H1B) one from Everestconsulting(chennai) another one Prithvi Information Solutions Hydrebad. Everestconsulting is offering 70k pa with 1laks bond. Prithvi is offerning 60k pa with 10K bones after one year. Prithvi is asking my passport for security.

Please help me if you have any idea about this companies.

70K pa is very good salary, but I do not know about the company.
Dont give your orginals to any company for whatever the reason.

Stay away from Everest Consulting. Do not be fooled by their Chennai office. They are a cheap desi consultancy here in US and will screw you once you land here. I was with them for 18 months.

Also, the job market is improving in US. So, you should not be paying anything to these companies. Till the time you find such company who will bring you here for free, sit tight.

Yea,

Everest Consulting companies guys are real crooks. I was Infosys Project Manager and I was ready to pay them around 50k rupees as against their Rs1 lakh and they didnt agree. Also, in US also, they are asking for USD1500 for H1-B transfer. looks like they might be Ok desi consulting company but this is my Hunch

I believe these are all bodyshoppers.Some have good contacts while some will keep you on bench for 2/3 months.
Is job situation really improving in US?
I see a lot of ads now in newspapers regarding H1B as they used to appear in 1998-2000 period.
