I'm using Tomcat 5.5.23 and Oracle 10g as database. I have configured connection pooling in tomcat. I'm able to connect database using teh same configuration and execute queries. Could someone share the procedure/steps to test whetehr connection pooling is happening or not?

Using the connection polling name , you can create the database connection.
You can use datasource to get the connection. If you are not clear refer the document "Getting Jdbc connection using DataSource " in Google Search.

Thanks Shankar,
I'm able to connect to DB using the datasource and run queries as mentioned in previous post.
What I meant is - how can I test whether the connection objects are returned from pool or not, and whether the pooling is happening or not?

Connection polling mechanism will do the task internally, like returning connection back to pool .
You can check the connection status in Tomcat .
