NESS Vs SASKEN.. Urgent help required..

Hi.

Recently one of my friend got offer from Ness Tech bangalore and Sasken Bangalore.

He is having 2+ years of experience in java/j2ee..

The offer is :
Ness - 4.5 LPA
Sasken - 3.75 LPA

somebody suggesting to join ness and sombody suggesting sasken.. now he is under heavy confusion..

can anybody tell me which offer is better and about work nature of both the companies..

Hi,

I donno know whether he will continue in J2EE in sasken .Basically they are more into telecom.

I heard Ness technologies is good and onsites are also more.

But everything depends on which kind of project you are put up into.

For 2+ years, I think 4.5L per annum is a good salary in IT services sector.

Sasken is better company in Bangalore compared to NESS since NESS doesnt have brand name besides one of my friend who worked there didnt give good impression.

Since you are starting ur career relatively, u need to be with branded companies for ur career

A few of my friends are in telecom domain.
Telecom domain offers slightly inflated salary compared to Java/J2EE jobs.
If you are looking at long term option and willing to learn in ur career, Telecom job is better.
Ness is not a good company as per some of my friends' friend.

hi
one of my friend has also got through sasken j2ee.But does telecom really involve j2ee.Does anybody know what kind of projects does sasken involve for j2ee people
