Can anyone please let me know how can I migrate WHOLE table from DB2 to Oracle? Is there any software or so?

I don't know if there is any cross database utility, you must search on google for it.

I would suggest export your data either CSV or Excel or Fixed length file from DB2 and upload into Oracle usingf SQL Loader.

Thanks,

Not really. You may have some luck with export/import tools but depending on the data types used it may still require some conversions. I find the best way to do something like this is write a JDBC tool that reads a record from one database and inserts it into another after performing some conversions. The non-conversion JDBC code should be about a page long.

Yes data conversion is another area which need to be addressed, In SQL loader we can also convert the Data in desired format before inserting into table, also in term of performance I have very good experience with SQL loaders.

I used to insert approx 2 million records in oracle within 5 minutes.

Thanks,
Shailesh

That's easy when the database is local, try doing it when the database is across a distributed network... now *thats* fun.

I meant over the internet. Its fun to work on solutions for such an environment. But we're definitely off topic now ;)
