I am certified java programmer (also have a cert for SCWCD) and have over 5 years experience as a java developer.

The problem is that I have very little J2EE experience and can not get a job (in this area). I am looking to work in London or Cambridgeshire ...

All job vacancies are for experienced java J2EE developers. How does one get this experience??

Try working on some open source projects to get the experience. Try the following link
