Hi Ankur,

Actually i am searching for a good company to work with. Till now i have not applied in techspan. But first I want to be sure that whether it will be worth to work there or not as it will be my first switch. Currently I am in TCS in finance domain. But at the starting i want to work in development projects.

Do you know anyone working in Techspan?? as only from there we can get the right information.I think package will dependent more upon our knowledge.

Do you know what type of projects are currently going on in Noida and B'lore and How many Offices are there...Actually I want to know more about this company apart from the information given on Net.

Currently I am working in Gurgaon and if work is better in Noida then it will be better instead of going to b'lore.

I don't know that what pkg it offers but i think it should be atleast 6 lac.

Hi,

Akash I am also out looking for a possible change as recruitment is strong in the industry.I too am in the Finance domain. As you said that you are at TCS,I just wanted to ask if its really like working at a government office in TCS(Heard a lot of this). And if I understand your post well it seems like you want to shift because you want development work.So is it like in TCS there isn't much of development? Is it more like support/maintenance?

Hi Nikhil
Working in TCs is like a totally different experience. Its training is too good that u simply cann't compare it with any other training. But the work is not at all good. It depends upon your luck also as u might get good work, but the chances are very less. Most of the projects are in maintenance face here. In which company you are working currently ??

Akash,

Techspan Noida is a very good place to work and they are paymasters. Most of the employees are from IITs and reputed colleges so they would be paying really well. I heard that Techspan Noida has clients like Goldman sachs and Morgan Stanley and the projects are good.
Go ahead and give it a shot. All the best!!!

Thanx Anu,

I have done B. TEch. from NIT, Jaipur. So college reputation is not a problem for me. But i have heard that it takes only +2 yr experienced people. whereas i have been here for only 8 months. Apart from this can you plz tell me the right way to approach there. I mean do they conduct some recruitement programs in some period ??? or how else can i forward my CV there?? Also i am confused that whether i should try right now or after completion of 1 yr. as at that time i will get a higher pkg.

Akash,

I would advice you to remain in your current company till atleast you have an year's experience. You can apply on their website. They are looking for people but i think its mostly experienced guys with more than 3-4 years experience. Yes, you would be able to clinch a better pay once you have a year or two of experience under your belt.
Dont be impatient, that's the mantra.

I feel Techspan HR interview is more tougher then technical interview. They do not encourage people jumping companies. But thier senior manager changed a year or two years back so not sure if still they are having same policies. So they may not encourage to you as you are just trying to leave your present organization within 1 year.

Hi Reddy,

Yes that is right that companies do not prefer an employee who is making an early switch. But my problem is that here i am not doing a good work and if i do the same work for next 2-3 yrs then it will definately degrade my skills and that would be the worst case where instead of improvement you are loosing sth. Can you plz suggest some companies in Gurgaon with good work and salaries?? Bcoz even in case i complete 1 yr here i will have to make a switch if i don't get a development work.
