Hi, I already have tomcat(which has ant) installed. Now I want to install J2EE, do I need another ant, or is tomcat's ant sufficient?

There exist different 'ants'. But essentially they do all the same: replace 'oldfashioned UNIX' make by a Java-'make' based on a XML-file.
To install j2ee means (in my humble opinion) to extract your source of j2ee to a directory and adjust some 'path'-variables like 'J2EE-HOME' and this only ONCE (and I do not know how to do that with ant). I would not use 'ant' for it, because I would not think about of 'adjusting' j2ee (leave that to Sun).
