I have installed the Petstore application however when I try to deploy it I get the following errors:
1.
java.rmi.ServerException. Remote Exception occured in server thread;nested exception is :
java.rmi.RemoteException. Error while loading JAR D:\J2SDKEE1.2.1\repository\anu_dhir\applications\petstore989387508199Sever.jar
2.
javax.naming.InvalidNameException:JNDI name 'jdbc/InventoryDB' for resource reference 'jdbc/InventoryDataSource' is not valid
Please advise as to how these errors can be tackled. I have already tried running cleanup.bat but the error persists. Your help will be highly appreciated
Regards,
Anupama

I managed to solve the problem on my own. This is how I went about it:
1.
I had appended the following lines to the end of the default.properties file
|jdbc/EstoreDB|jdbc:cloudscape:rmi:CloudscapeDB;create=true
|jdbc/InventoryDB|jdbc:cloudscape:rmi:CloudscapeDB;create=true
It was a silly mistake-u need to add it to the java.datasources part.
2. While deploying the application I went to the JNDI names tab and found that there were some incorrect JNDI names-I think this happened because I was trying to experiment with a lot of things while troubleshooting and may have accidently edited the names!!
BTW, I spent around 3 hours troubleshooting -but atleast I got the application to work

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
