How to make an existing web application J2ee compliant?
posted 15 years ago
Hi, My application uses Javabeans, JSPs, and Servlets. The Web server used is JavaWebServer. What changes are actually required for making it J2EE compliant? Do I have to rewrite the Javabeans as EJBs in order to deploy them in J2EE server or do I have to create a WAR file for the application with the Javabeans Servlets and JSPs. I have tried doing it but have got errors in deployment. How do I get the jdbc connectivity from a J2EE server? The jdbc driver classes are at present specified in the classpath of my webserver. Will it also work out the same way in J2EE Server? regards Panchalee
